Pre-Registration Experience

Complete this form for any experience gained with a CA Training Office prior to the date of registration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Pre-registration experience gained in an approved CA Training Office prior to September 1, 2011 may be claimed to a maximum of 8 months. Pre-registration experience gained subsequent to September 1, 2011 is limited to the 3 months immediately prior to the registration date. Submit original forms only, faxes or photocopies will not be processed.

This may apply if:

• You are currently a registered CA student with the ICAO and wish to be granted recognition for experience obtained at an approved training office prior to registration.
• You are currently a registered CA student with the ICAO and worked as an intern or summer student at an approved training office prior to conferring university degree in a non-recognized co-op program**
