Schedule of University Courses for Institute Credit
University of WaterlooAFM101 Core Concepts of Accounting InformationWhile a mandatory course in the many programs offered by University of Waterloo, AFM101 does not receive Institute credit hours. Co-op OptionOnly the CA Co-op Option in the BAFM, BMath, and BSc Degree Programs about which credit-hour information is provided below qualifies as a Co-op Work Term under Regulation I. Transfer Credits and Course Mixes Between Universities Please be aware that, although a recognized university may have granted you a transfer credit or an exemption for a course taken at a post-secondary institution, the course may not fulfill the Institute’s requirements. The Institute will assess ALL transfer credits and exemptions! It is also essential that students check with the Institute prior to mixing courses between different post-secondary institutions to avoid course content overlap and denial of Institute credits. Academic Year 2008-09Master of Accounting (MAcc) Degree ProgramAccredited Program - As the Institute's only Accredited Program offering the ICAO Professional Program, graduates of the Master of Accounting (MAcc) Program are considered to have met the Institute’s educational requirements of the 51 credit hours of prescribed university courses and the ICAO Professional Program. Accordingly, students in the MAcc program are eligible to write the Uniform Evaluation (UFE) immediately following graduation. Students may be exempt from the staff training program requirements - to verify this please check with your MAcc programs director.
