Humber College Institute of TechnologyTransfer Credits and Course Mixes Between Universities Please be aware that, although a recognized degree granting institution may have granted you a transfer credit or an exemption for a course taken at a post-secondary institution, the course may not fulfill the Institute’s requirements. The Institute will assess ALL transfer credits and exemptions! It is also essential that students check with the Institute prior to mixing courses from different post-secondary institutions to avoid gap or overlap in course content and subsequent denial of credits by the Institute. Academic Year 2011-12Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting (4 years, 120 credit hours)Total Credits Offered: 12 Credits Under Review: 39 Total Expected Credits: 51 Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is launching its Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting (B.Comm - Accounting) in September 2011 after receiving Ministerial Consent from the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. The curriculum of the B.Comm - Accounting has been developed with input from the Institute, so as to meet the Institute's degree and "51 credit-hour" requirements. The credit hours for the courses currently listed as "X credit hours under review" will be updated once the courses have been delivered as planned.
