Emergency Professional Assistance Program

This service responds to emergency situations where practice continuation arrangements are not in place to ensure clients' needs will continue to be met even when the practitioner is not able to work. The Emergency Professional Assistance Program provides a registry of members willing to assist when a practitioner suffers a temporary or permanent disability, the engagement terms being determined by the members or their representatives.

Please note:  the Institute highly recommends that each practitioner set up their own continuation plan well in advance of any possible future problems.
