1. CKE Candidates’ Guide to the 2012 CKE ($125.00 plus shipping and HST)

This Guide, which includes Volumes I and II, will serve as a valuable resource in your preparation for the 2012 CKE and, in particular, for the competencies of Performance Measurement and Reporting and Assurance.  The 2012 edition of the CKE Guide has been updated to include the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) that are examinable for the first time in the 2012 CKE.  The answers and explanations for the multiple-choice questions relating to Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and to IFRS include discussion of applying both ASPE and IFRS. Three practice papers are included in the Guide.  Practice Paper I includes 50 multiple-choice questions that relate to the competencies of Performance Measurement and Reporting and Assurance; Practice Paper II includes 75 multiple-choice questions that relate to five of the six specific competencies (Taxation is not included); and Practice Paper III includes 100 multiple-choice questions that simulate the full CKE.  The three practice papers include in-depth answers and explanations for the questions.

The CKE Guide includes in excess of 500 original MCQs and in excess of 225 updated UFE MCQs with in-depth answers and explanations to assist you in preparing for the 2012 CKE.

The CICA Handbook Guides provide a study source to assist you in developing the knowledge of the accounting and assurance standards needed for the CKE, SOA and UFE.  The Guides to the CICA Handbooks – Accounting, Parts I and II include integrated discussion of the related audit and taxation considerations.

The three Guide set includes approximately 1,000 pages of study source materials and is available ONLY AS A SET.  These Guides are not available separately.
