UFE Finalist Program - August 8 to 12, 2011

The 2011 UFE Finalist Program is developed and presented entirely by Mick Norgrove.  It is a comprehensive program that is designed to complement a student’s personal study program for the 2011 Uniform Evaluation (UFE).

The objective of the program is to assist students in developing the essential skills of how to identify and rank issues, how to allocate and manage time; as well as how to apply fundamental knowledge for the six specific competencies and specific simulation facts to provide sufficient depth of analysis and appropriate, supported opinions and advice, which are essential skills for success on the UFE.

The program is comprised of five days of instruction and writing and debriefing practice multi-competency and comprehensive simulations.  Coverage of the six competencies will be integrated with the writing of practice simulations.  Application of International Financial Accounting Standards and Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises will be covered.  One comprehensive simulation paper and one non-comprehensive simulation paper will be written and professionally marked.

Registrants will receive Mick Norgrove’s “UFE Candidates’ Guide to the 2011 Uniform Evaluation (The UFE)”.

Detailed information regarding the session location will be provided when registrations are confirmed in July 2011.

The fee is $904 ($800 plus HST).

The program is subject to minimum/maximum enrolment, therefore early registration is required to ensure that you will be able to attend this program.

The deadline for registering is Friday, July 8, 2011.  Late applications (with a non-returnable $100 late fee) will be accepted until July 25.

All course cancellations are subject to a $56.50 ($50 plus HST) cancellation fee unless the registrant is unsuccessful at the School of Accountancy.

NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER MONDAY, JULY 25, 2011.
