2011-2012 Governing Council

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario is governed by a Council of 20 members, of which 16 are elected Chartered Accountants and four are Public Representatives appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council. The Council leads the Institute by setting its strategic priorities, and overseeing the attainment of those priorities and the management of the Institute's operating activities.

The 2011-2012 Council took office in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting, held in Toronto, on June 16, 2011. At its first meeting, the Council elected the Institute's volunteer officers for 2011-2012, as noted below.
