The ICAO Award of Distinction was established to acknowledge and profile younger Ontario CAs  who have brought distinction to themselves and to their profession because of their leadership and achievement in various aspects of their personal and professional lives. The ICAO Award of Distinction was awarded for the first time in 2006, and thereafter is given every three years, coincident with the Institute's FCA elections.

In addition, all nominees are automatically considered for the Christine E. Sinclair Community Leadership Award, a special award for voluntary community leadership. This year, the Institute’s Council is pleased to present the Christine E. Sinclair Award  to Michael M. Gottlieb, CA.
