“No Limits” - Annual Career Development Day for High School Students

What:
• 360 high school students from 51 different schools from the GTA and surrounding area will explore careers in business this Thursday, May 20/2004
• Exciting career conference for senior student to directly connect with decision makers – leaders in the world of business.
• Students will benefit from the high-energy, interactive workshops and seminars.
• They will discover the importance of leadership/networking/professionalism/teamwork and business etiquette:
• How to make a good first impression - how to shake hands, make eye contact, be self confident
• Importance of good interpersonal skills
• Qualities needed to start a successful career - process of which starts today!

 When: Where:
 Thursday, May 20, 2004 - 9:00 am to 2:30 pm Marriott Hotel
  Eaton Centre, 525 Bay Street - Toronto

Student Selection:
The following criteria has been used to decide participating students:
• Senior high school student (Grade 12)
• Enrolled in or previously completed a senior-level business studies course
• Illustrates academic strength
• Demonstrates leadership and achievement in the school and/or community
• Applied to a business/commerce program at an Ontario University, to begin in September 2004
