Toronto students finding out a future as a CA has No Limits

Toronto, Ontario (May 2, 2005) – A select group of Toronto-area high school students are getting an exclusive look into the many opportunities available in the world of business at the No Limits conference being hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants on May 3. Approximately 400 students, nominated by their schools for their leadership skills and interest in university business programs, will be attending this daylong session. Toronto is hosting one of just two No Limits conferences being held in 2005.

The No Limits conference brings Chartered Accountants for Toronto’s top businesses together with students most likely to be tomorrow’s successful business professionals. During No Limits, the students will get the chance to meet CAs and discuss the many opportunities that open up for people who achieve the prestigious CA designation. Participating organizations include major accounting firms, Bell Canada, TTC, IBM, Labatt Brewing Company, Walmart, York University and the University of Toronto.

Among the day’s highlights will be a presentation by Phil King, President of TSN, Canada’s premier cable sports station. He’ll discuss how becoming a CA started him on his way to a successful career in broadcasting.

Media are invited to attend the No Limits conference and interviews can be arranged with participants.
