Ontario CA Institute offers free CommuniCAtors Speakers Bureau serviceToronto, Ontario (May 9, 2006) -The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario has launched the CommuniCAtors Speakers Bureau as a public service and free resource for groups seeking top financial speakers. The CommuniCAtors' roster of speakers is made up of Chartered Accountants who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise at events hosted by businesses, universities, public service organizations and other groups across Ontario. "With the increasing complexity of the business world, there has never been a greater need for access to seasoned speakers who can discuss issues in a meaningful way and bring valuable information to audiences," said Peter Varley, the Institute's Vice-President of Public Affairs. "Through the generosity of our members offering to donate their time, we can offer access to CommuniCAtors free of charge." Chartered Accountants have unmatched business knowledge because of the many roles they play in public practice, tax planning, industry, finance, government and academe. CommuniCAtors range from partners in the largest Bay Street financial giants and audit firms to members of small CA partnerships or entrepreneurial businesses. Speakers are located across the province. Some of the topics covered: "We believe that our roster of speakers is unmatched and can produce an expert who is well-prepared to address almost any business topic," said Varley. "If a particular topic isn't listed on our CommuniCAtors site, we invite event organizers to contact us directly to see if we can match a speaker with the unique needs of their audience." A complete listing of the CommuniCAtors and their topics can be found in the Serving the Public section of the Institute's website at www.icao.on.ca. Speakers can be booked on-line. -30- About the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario:
