Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario elects 2006-2007 governing CouncilKeith Farlinger, FCA, elected Chair; Council membership includes strong regional representationTORONTO (June 22, 2006) - The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario announced the election of its 2006-2007 governing Council, including the introduction of a new Chair, at its Annual General Meeting. Eight members were either elected or re-elected to the Council and Keith Farlinger, FCA, Toronto Region Managing Partner at BDO Dunwoody LLP, assumed the role of Council Chair for a two-year term. The Ontario government also appoints four public representative positions to the Council. They are D'Arcy Delamere, Tim Kennish, Dina Palozzi and Dr. James Young.
