Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario elects 2008-2009 governing CouncilCouncil membership includes strong regional representation, including new ChairToronto (June 20, 2008) – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario announced the election of its 2008-2009 governing Council at its Annual General Meeting on June 19. Nine new members were either elected or re-elected to the Council and Gerald Mills, FCA, of London Ontario, became the new Council Chair. The 2008 – 2009 Executive Group members are:

The Ontario government also appoints four public representative positions to the Council. They are D’Arcy Delamere, Tim Kennish, Dina Palozzi and Dr. James Young. "The CA profession is in the forefront of our province’s economy, with unprecedented opportunities, challenges and demands," said Brian Hunt, FCA, President and CEO of the Institute. “Our renewed Council brings together top Chartered Accountants with a wide range of experience and expertise.
