In this Management Competencies component of the Controllership Program, you will learn to improve your coaching and supervisory, team building and presentation skills. In addition, you will have the opportunity to devote some time to the enhancement of your individual development. The program emphasizes practical approaches and the sharing of best practices in a setting which is stimulating, supportive and fun. You will be encouraged to leave with established priorities and plans for what you want to change in the period ahead and the skills to accomplish it. Dates, Facilities and Registration InformationDate and Time: November 11 – 14, 2012 - The program begins at 6:00PM on Sunday, November 11 with a classroom session and ends at 4:00PM on Wednesday, November 14. In addition to her CA designation, she also possesses a designation in Human Resources and an advanced degree in social work. She has designed and delivered many workshops on topics ranging from staff retention to recruitment and selection to management development. She offers consulting services to a variety of organizations in the areas of employee performance, leadership and discipline and is the technical editor for the People Management column in CA Magazine. Cindy Pinkus, LL.B. has carried on her law practice for more than 20 years. In the late 1990s, Cindy served as a faculty member and then faculty lead for the Law Society of Upper Canada. In 2002, she served as Director of Bar Admission. Since returning to private practice, Cindy has lectured with the University of Toronto and York University, as well as provided extensive communication and negotiation training across Canada. Her current law practice has an emphasis on estate planning.
