The Value-Driven CFO

2014 Dates TBD

Globalization, volatile exchange rates, trans-border acquisitions and divestitures, corporate governance, off-balance sheet vehicles, executive compensation, need for timely and accurate information, increased reporting regulations, insights into business drivers, corporate dashboards, becoming a business partner… if this short list does not give you the feeling of a “harried” CFO, then nothing will.

Program Description

The pressure to perform and demonstrate value-adding has never been so intense, and the CFO is in the middle of this storm, and expected to be an integral part of driving enterprise performance. The days of simply doing the variance analysis and month-end closures and reconciliations is over. CEOs and Boards now expect their CFOs to create, enhance, refine, link strategies, and provide a reporting architecture to consistently improve shareholder value; to be The Value-Driven CFO.

This program will take you beyond traditional financial and management reporting, and will guide you on designing value-driven performance indicators and compensation incentives, and help you become The Value-Driven CFO

Who Should Attend

Are you one of the drivers of performance in your enterprise? Does senior management rely on you to analyze and make key financial decisions? Are you involved in making acquisition and divestiture decisions? Do you provide the Board and external shareholder/stakeholders with performance analysis? Are you viewed as a trusted advisor to the Board? Are you interested in improving your knowledge with leading-edge best-practices in the Finance function? Do you want to be the very best CFO? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then this program is for you.

Please note: This program has been designed with private-sector, for-profit organizations in mind. Participants from the public and not-for-profit sectors may still benefit from the program but should be aware that some areas of focus may not apply to their organization. Please contact Lawrence Wong if you are uncertain if this program would be ideal for you.

Here is what some had to say about The Value-Driven CFO program:

  • This course was invaluable in providing insight on how finance can facilitate and contribute to transformation and value creation.
  • That was the best presented, most content-rich course I have taken…I will be back.
  • Very informative and helpful.
  • Vijay is an excellent seminar leader. His use of real life examples and his anecdotal approach make him one of the best seminar leaders I have had.
  • Helped me understand my company, identify short-comings and opportunities, start a dialogue with senior management.
  • I came looking for things I would not normally be exposed to. Success. I love the content, intellectually engaging.
