In addition to her work as Partner, Income Taxation at Harris & Chong LLP, Sonja Chong is very active as a member of the Canadian, Ontario and Alberta CA Institutes, as well as the International Fiscal Association. She is currently serving as a member of the Board of Governors of the Canadian Tax Foundation.

Sonja has engaged in full-time income tax consulting since 1985 with a practice focused on corporate and personal tax planning, estate planning, international taxation, exit and entry tax planning. She is an expert regularly consulted by other CAs, has written numerous articles for prestigious financial publications, lectures, holds seminars and makes media appearances, both in Canada and abroad.
