Loren Francis, in her current role, is responsible for advising high net worth clients, both individuals and foundations. Her background includes four years as portfolio manager with Cumberland Private Wealth Management, and over 12 years at CIBC where she focused on both private wealth management and investment banking. Loren also acted as liaison to CIBC Commercial Banking, working with mid-market clients on business succession planning, including the transition of a business, liquidity events and/or exit strategies, and implementing wealth management solutions. During her time in Investment Banking, Loren was involved in over 15 initial public offerings and a number of merger and acquisition deals as well as numerous debt and equity issues for Canadian public companies.
Loren completed her CA designation with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP early on in her career. She holds an MBA from the University of Toronto and the designation of Canadian Investment Manager.
Loren is a founding member of the Young Patrons Circle of the Royal Ontario Museum.She also serves as a director on the board of the Oakville Hospital Foundation, and is a past director of Sheena’s Place, a registered charity offering hope and support to patients with eating disorders.
