Bruce Armstrong is a Managing Director of Froese Forensic Partners Ltd., one of Canada's largest independent financial investigative firms, dedicated exclusively to providing expert opinion reports and testimony in matters such as forensic accounting and fraud investigations, financial damages, corporate investigations, professional misconduct and auditor negligence, and personal injury damages. Bruce heads up the firm's expert services practice, including a team of highly qualified senior affiliates dedicated to providing expert services related to CA performance. For several years, Bruce was the Senior Investigator for the Professional Conduct Committee at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Before joining the Institute in 2000, he spent a 28-year career in public accounting where, beginning in 1976, he specialized in investigative and forensic matters. Bruce has been involved in more than 350 investigations, including criminal, corporate and civil matters, acting for Crown and Defense, the plaintiff and defendant. He has also been retained privately by legal counsel acting for their corporate and individual clients in litigation matters involving family law, shareholder/partner disputes and fidelity loss. Bruce has qualified as an expert witness and given evidence at all Ontario Court levels. Bruce has lectured on investigative and forensic accounting to a number of audiences, including local chapters of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources and Ministry of the Environment, the Centre for Forensic Sciences and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
