Chi Ho Ng, CA, CPA(IL), MBA, is a Principal of Auditing and Assurance Standards with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA). In this role, Chi Ho is responsible for identifying, researching and making recommendations on complex auditing and assurance issues in Canada, drafting Canadian auditing and assurance standards, as well as working with the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board on the development of International Standards on Auditing.
Chi Ho teaches several professional development courses for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario (ICAO) and is a part-time accounting course director at York University. Prior to joining the CICA, Chi Ho was the Director of Professional Standards at a mid-sized accounting firm and was appointed as a part-time practice inspector for the ICAO.
Chi Ho has written several articles for CAmagazine and training material for various accounting firms. He is a frequent speaker to the CA community on accounting and auditing topics and was featured on the CICA's webinar on CSQC 1. Chi Ho is currently serving as President on the Board of Directors of a Legal Aid Ontario clinic.
