Jerrard Gaertner is a trustee in bankruptcy and Senior Vice President of Soberman Tessis Inc. He is a CICA-designated specialist in insolvency and restructuring and a Certified Forensic Investigator. His insolvency practice entails both personal and commercial files, although he mainly focuses on corporate reorganization, insolvency tax, intellectual property issues and forensic investigation in the context of bankruptcy or court ordered investigation.

Jerry is also Director at Soberman LLP, where he is responsible for the firm’s Strategic Audit and Information Technology Services. He is a CICA-designated specialist in information systems auditing and information technology and a Certified Internal Auditor. In this role, Jerry plans and supervises complex systems assurance and computer security engagements, evaluates technology risk and oversees the firm’s computer forensics and data analytics practice. He also consults on privacy matters and legislation.

Prior to first joining Soberman LLP in 1997, Jerry worked for 15 years at a major multinational accounting firm where he was responsible for computer audit and security activities in the Montreal, Toronto, and National Offices. He also operated his own consulting practice in the areas of privacy compliance, biometrics, computer security and technology assessment.
