Chris is the President of Chris Boland Professional Corporation. His primarily role is to provide full service financial solutions for companies making the transition to GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Prior to the incorporation of Chris Boland Professional Corporation, Chris was the General Manager Accounting with Canada Post Corporation, where he supervised, coached, developed and directed teams for the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards. He was also responsible for the Canadian SOX CEO/CFO Internal Control Certification process, which involved testing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting of Canada Post and its subsidiaries.

Chris has over 20 years of results-oriented experience in financial and investment management, with progressive responsibility in domestic and international high-tech and government business environments.

He has been highly successful in implementing, streamlining, and automating systems (IFRS, SOX, Anti-Fraud, Corporate Governance, COBIT/S5970), negotiating (M&A, venture capital investments, financing, taxation) and communicating financial information to boards of directors, senior management, the financial community, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
