Support for Small-Scale Projects
In 1996, The Institute implemented its CA Profession Support for Ontario University Accounting Education program. Small-scale project support is one of the components of the program. It is available to full-time accounting faculty at Ontario universities who are registered with the Institute as Faculty Colleagues. Support may be given to individuals or to small groups. Support is made available for activities that strengthen accounting education, through innovative teaching and course development and access to accounting courses, within the Ontario university system.
Support for small-scale projects is expected to be in the $3,000 to $5,000 range. Proposals to a maximum of $15,000 will be considered for exceptional projects that demonstrate potential system-wide benefit. Preference will be given to projects involving inter-university cooperation.
