Update - June 11, 2002

Bylaw amendments passed by the Council

Pursuant to s. 8(1) of the Chartered Accountants Act, effective June 11, 2002, which continue in effect until approved by the members at the next annual general meeting

New bylaws are introduced, as follows:

Bylaw 313 (Suspension of membership following conviction of an offence)
Bylaw 314 (Expulsion from membership in another provincial institute)
Bylaw 360 (Bankruptcy or insolvency of a firm or professional incorporation)
Bylaw 413 (Suspension of registration following conviction of an offence)

Former Bylaw 413 (Consequences of disciplinary action) is re-numbered to become Bylaw 414
