CA Profession Participates in Olympic Coverage on TSN and Sportsnet
This Friday, in Vancouver, the eagerly-anticipated opening ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games will take place. For the next 17 days, many of us will be glued to our TVs, following not just our Canadian athletes but those from around the world. While watching the coverage, you’ll likely notice that our profession has a presence at these Olympics too!
For the first time, Canada’s CAs are sponsoring some of the closed-captioning programming during these Games. Tune into TSN or Sportsnet (or RDS or V in French) to see our three new Olympic sponsorship commercials, created especially for this occasion. In these unique spots, you’ll see the CA logo taking on some Olympic sports as it transforms into a bobsleigh, bumps curling rocks, and takes on the shape of a figure skater.
This Olympic sponsorship is part of phase two of the CA profession’s Decisions Matter national branding campaign, which includes advertising on TV and radio, in business magazines, and at major Canadian airports. National research among the business community showed that phase one of this campaign was very well received.
So, on Feb. 12, get ready to be proud not just of our Canadian athletes but of our profession as well!
