Welcome to CPA Ontario

This is an exciting time for the accounting profession – not only in Ontario, but throughout Canada. Our nation’s accounting professionals - CAs, CGAs and CMAs - are unifying as one single, strong profession under the banner of Chartered Professional Accountants.  In Ontario, all of our members carry a CPA in addition to their legacy designation.

Tax Preparation Assistance

Join your fellow CPAs and give back by preparing tax returns for people who need assistance in our community. Together we can help thousands of individuals who truly need our help receiving tax refunds and credits that are only available by filing an income tax return.

D&A Magazine December 2014 Issue

The November/December 2014 issue of D&A Magazine is now online. In this issue, we introduce CPA Ontario’s Council Chair, Michael Banks, FCPA, FCA; we discuss Burger King’s takeover of Tim Hortons with Professor Alan Middleton of the Schulich School of Business; and take an in-depth look at research into textual analysis, which is quickly becoming a tool for accountants, investors and litigators alike. Also, we ask ‘What CPAs need to know’ about new OECD rules on transfer pricing, and introduce a new business book review section called The Book Shelf, featuring plenty of holiday book-buying ideas for Chartered Professional Accountants.
