This is an exciting time for the accounting profession in Canada. Most of our nation’s accounting professionals are unifying as one single, strong profession under the banner of Chartered Professional Accountants. As well, all of our Members now carry a new CPA in addition to their legacy designation.
Certified Management Accountants of Ontario and Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario have signed the First Unification Agreement, and Ontario’s CMAs are now Members of CPA Ontario, entitled to use the CPA designation.
