A graduate of the University of Waterloo, Brian worked at Campbell Sharp Chartered Accountants (now Grant Thornton LLP) before joining the Institute as Assistant Director of Education in 1984. Today in the role of Vice-President of Learning, Brian speaks to students, teachers and a wide variety of audiences across the province on the benefits of becoming a Chartered Accountant.

Brian has been instrumental in identifying, planning and implementing numerous improvements to the CA education system in Ontario, including the recent development and implementation of the Institute’s university program accreditation process and the related establishment of CA/University Joint Centres for the advancement of accounting research and education.
